Who Are We Seeking?

Position: Sr. Manager – Sales
Location: Not specified (assumed pan-India or metro-focused)
Role Overview
This role requires generating leads and closing sales within a defined region. You will:
- Travel extensively (60–70% of the month) to meet decision-makers (owners, CMOs)
- Follow up with leads via calls, meetings, web, and events
- Sell enterprise software (licensed or SaaS) to medium/large enterprises
- Be results-driven with a strong understanding of tech jargon and complex selling
- Consider your territory as your personal business unit
- Be open to continuous learning and training
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Lead and coach a team of 3–5 Sales Managers
- Recruit and manage a team to achieve regional sales goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer personnel
- Acquire new business and manage KPIs for the sales team
- Conduct weekly performance reviews with the sales team
- Create innovative sales programs and initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge
- Generate leads through meetings, demos, cold-calling, events, and research
- Manage partner relations, channel and direct sales
- Negotiate and close large customer deals
- Monitor metrics and prepare forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure brand alignment
Experience & Skills
- Background in SaaS/B2B Technology applications
- Understanding of retail/hospitality/F&B industries
- Analytical and strategic mindset
- Experience in matrix organizations and with enterprise clients
- 5+ years in business development or SaaS sales
- Proven success with C-level sales (CMO, CIO, CTO, CEO, MD)
- Experience in managing and mentoring teams
- Skilled in CRM systems (e.g., ZOHO)
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Proven quota attainment and value-based selling
- Strong solution selling approach
- Executive presence with ability to handle both technical and non-technical stakeholders
